Avebury

So, last day, woke up early, to hear rain for the first time that week, somehow appropriate to end a holiday on a rainy day, still never mind, got to make the most of it. Up showered, shaved, all the usual ablutions, and started to get into Lesley mode, flowery bra, black padded panties, tan tights, boot cut jeans, and a patterned top, with a black cardi, then realised I had packed my ankle boots in the car last night, have to wear knee boots instead, looked ok though.

Make up as usual, jewellery and perfume, brunette hair, really like this hair, seems to suit my face and colour, so makes me feel confident when I,m out, I had packed the car the night before, so it was just a quick tidy up, and flick round to make the cottage look as nice as when we arrived, then last couple of trips to the car with the few bits left and off I went, decided that as it was the last day, and had to be home by the time B got back from work, I would drive across country, avoiding the motorways, original plan was to make for the Designer outlet at Swindon, lunching there and a bit of shopping.

Traffic was awful though, slow, busy, too many trucks and buses slowing everything down, taking for ages to get anywhere, rain didn’t help, and getting further behind, then saw signs for Avebury Stone Circle, why not stop there and have a break for half an hour before continuing on. Drove in, rain had stopped, but very windy, lady at reception was bored, and chatty, still it was nice to be accepted, gave me a map, told me where to go, and told me to enjoy myself. Thanked her nicely and trotted off to the village following the map she had given me, found the way in, and had a look around the village, then into the main grounds, taking pics as I went, Then into the stones themselves, there was a group of children doing art there, and a few others but rather quiet, mind you it was very windy and rain in the air, but I had a happy hour wandering the main stones and circle, we had been before but seemed much bigger this time, amazing really how old it is.

Then the rain started again, so back to the Ladies first, then the café, “Large coffee and carrot cake please” I asked in my best fem voice, “certainly my dear, isn’t it an awful day” I chatted with the lady behind the counter, who smiled and told me to enjoy my drink, I walked to a table, quite a few people in here sheltering from the weather, sat and enjoyed my coffee, needed to warm up myself after the wind, spent some time in there, reading the literature, enjoying being a lady that lunches, then thought it was time to head off, but decided to have a look in the museum and shop first, looked around, picking things up, and putting them down, like real women do, and then went into the Stables prd, “Going in the house Miss” asked the chap on the desk, “No timed tickets today, you can go and look around now if you want” “Oh yes please, thank you” I replied, he gave me a ticket and told me where to go, there was a couple who were just going in, so thought I would hang back, let them get started, so I could take my own time.

Went in, to find the couple, and about six others, being given the welcome speech, so had to stand there with them, while the lady told us all about the house, at the end she turned to me “are you alright with that dear, or would you like me to tell you anything else” I smiled and said no thanks, I,m fine. I did enjoy the house, the downstairs is done out in a 1930s style, while the upstairs is Tudor, and as non of the furniture was original you could sit down on chairs play with things, and generally get involved as you went round. More folks than I though were there, got a couple of looks, but no bother so happy with that.

Then went out into the garden, rain had stopped now, so wandered happily around, taking yet more pics of myself, again it was much larger and varied that it had looked from the outside, so really glad I had gone in, think I may have seen more National Trust places as Lesley than I have as a man now!

Still, had to get on, no time for Swindon now, had to do the weeks shopping on the way back, so better get a move on. Drove onwards, till I got to Stow on the Wold, stopped there at the Tescos, visited the ladies, and got a trolly doing the shopping for the week ahead, do love pracncing around stores as Lesley, imagining I,m the wife doing the shopping for us, very nice girl on the till, didn’t even give me a strange look, so must have looked ok, packed the shopping in the car, and turned for home.

Saw a lovely field of rape on the way home, so stopped and got a few pics of that, such a gorgeous yellow, and scent too. Then all too soon, I was turning into our drive, no one about, so quickly in, stripped, into the shower to remove all traces of Lesley, thought that after a week, B would appreciate seeing her husband, rather than her slutty friend.
