Clarkes Village

After my two full days as Lesley, I decided to take it easy for the third day, just laze around for the morning, trying on various clothes and having a bit of a sort out, so ddnt get dressed till almost lunch time, spent most of the morning deciding what to wear, and where to go, did myself a sandwich, and decided to go to Clarks Village designer outlet, wasn’t too far away, so quick shower, and started to dress

Today it was a black short sleeved top under a black lacy cardi, and a black and white print skirt, weather was beautiful so wanted to look summery, not that warm when I went out though, so tan boots, then make up, different shade of lippie today, darker than normal, but wanted to try it out, brunette hair, after a good brush, got a little tangled yesterday! Popped on my purple print scarf and ready.

Found the village ok, and parked up, supprised I had to pay, don’t have to do that at Boundry Mills, but no problem, trotted over to the machine and paid, then a lady asked if I could change a fiver fr the machine, I obliged and she gave me a nice smile and made me feel nice. Wandered in and started brousing the stores there, so many different ones, slowly took my time, just walking about, taking pics on my phone as I went, Clarkes shoe shop was fantastic, I love shoes and boots, and spent a very happy half hour trying on various shoes, sandals, and boots, walking over to the mirror each time to admire how I looked in them all, found the most gorgeous summer sandals for £20.00, then into Next where I had a good sort through, tried on a pair of lace up high heeled ankle boots to die for, but they were just too small, I could get them on ok, but very uncomfortable to walk in

Found a lovely skirt in M & S, asked the young girl in the changing room if I could try it on, “of course you can” she said, and handed me a ticket, I was walking on air, and found myslf in  a cubicle mirrors all around me, heaven for a girl like me, The skirt fitted perfectly, so thanked the girl, and gave her back the ticket, quite a queue to pay, but no problems there, think girls like me are often better off at big stores like this, the ladies on the tills must have training as they were very nice and polite to me

Time for coffee and cake now, Costa (where else) I decided, had a Latte and lemon and ginger bake, very nice too, sat down, and felt good, blonde lady across the café looked at me and smiled, I always wonder what they think, but she was fine, forgotten to bring my laptop, so couldn’t check mail, but played on my phone and ate and drank, needed the ladies now, found that, nice and clean, and lovely big mirrors too.

Carried on looking around, B would love it here shame shes not with me, but I did have a great day just looking around, people and staff so friendly to me, get the odd look, but that’s to be expected I think, I,m not everyones idea of how a man should dress Lol

After about 4 hours there I was getting tired, and decided to head back to the cottage, to tidy up the mess I had left when I got bored of sorting clothes, went back to Tescos in Wells to pick up something to eat, great fun deciding what to have for supper, finally bought a meal for one and a bottle of wine, drove home, and relaxed for the evening
