Adventures in Lesleyland

Well B promised me an adventure, and I certainly got it, had a lovely weekend away with B and loved every minute

Up  early on Saturday, showered shaved all over and started to get ready, matching undies, black opaque’s, beige skirt, red top, black boots, then make up, nails, perfumed, painted slipped on my best hair, and prepared Bs breakfast.

We were off to Manchester for the day, always wanted to go to the Trafford Centre as Lesley and today was the day.

Soon as B was ready, of we went, traffic on the motorway was slow,  after an hour, we were still only as far as Keele Services, so decided to stop there for coffee and the Ladies, Quite crowded, but found a seat in Starbucks, B sorted the table while I ordered, girl at the till had a smile, but she was polite and friendly, took our coffee over to our table, we sat and chatted about what we wanted from the shops.

Then after about ½ an hour on we went, better drive after that, less traffic, and the new road from the M6 was great, we arrived at the Trafford Centre, loads of cars there already, so expecting crowds. Parked up, refreshed my make up, and trotted in in my heels with B, into the centre through the John Lewis entrance, had a look around there and then a squirt of perfume, loads of people around, but no one taking any notice of me.

On we went through the centre, B taking pics as she went, such a fantastic place, so elegant, loved the décor, B needed some pads, and she had forgotten her purse, so guess who got to buy everything, I loved it, standing the queues and paying for things, loved buying the pads, so fem, we went into Next and New Look, M & S etc, having a whale of a time as Lesley, looking, trying and seeing what was there

Then we found the Great Hall, what a place! Just loved the décor, B took loads of pics there, we wandered in and out of the places, loved the cruise ship, such a great place, then into Selfridges looking at all the outlets there, and so many shops, we were exhausted. Back to the Great Hall, for a sandwich and coffee, just loved siting in all that opulence, blending in as best I could, and watching the world through a womans eyes.

We chatted about what to do next, we had been there about 4 hours, and our feet in heels were aching a little, B had heard of a place called the Lowry Outlet at Salford Quays, that had some good outlet stores, and wanted to try that, so after a slow wander back through the centre, that was even more crowded than before, to the car, B taking more pics as we went.

Drove to Salford Quays, The Smiths going through my head all the way lol, found it ok, but realised that Manchester were playing at home, and loads of traffic, still looked a good place so in we went, wandered the shops, trying on shoes in Pavers looking round Next, Krisp, Romans, Pussycat, Camille etc, then found the M & S outlet. Spent a happy hour sorting through the clearance rails, ended up with three skirts, trousers and a top, the lady in the changing rooms was lovely, “trying those love, this way” with a smile, I felt like I was walking on air, tried on all my items, and decided on two of the skirts and the trousers, all £6.00 each, such bargains, I do love the way M & S stuff fits me well, and suits my figure. B had found a couple of tops, and trousers, and as she had no purse, guess who had to pay, lady was so nice, chatting away to me as she wrapped the things and I paid.

Getting late now, so started to head back to our hotel, we were staying near Stoke on the way back, so a drive down the motorway, and found the hotel ok, Lovely lady on reception, had a good look, but seemed to like what she saw, made us laugh, saying there was only the one bed in the room, was that ok! In the room we had a sit down for a few minutes, before I was up again, modelling my purchases for B who was impressed. (I think)

I changed for the evening, sparkly dress over a black long sleeved top, leggings, and my beige OTK boots, B took one look, and told me she wasn’t going out with me in THOSE boots! OK I swapped them for brown knee boots, and made her happy. There was no restaurant at the hotel, so we were going to drive into Newcastle for a Wetherspoons, but driving there we found a place called Island Buffet a Chinese serve yourself place, B said she fancied that, so we parked and went in “table for two Ladies” said the manager “yes please” and he got us a nice table in the corner.

He took our drinks order, and explained how it worked, he was so nice. We made a start, loved trotting up to the food bar, getting food, and siting eating, chatting and drinking our wine, I was restrained, and put a little on my plate so I could wander up and down for the food, had a great time. B and I enjoyed our meal we, both love people watching, and seeing the world go by, no one took a blind bit of notice of me that I noticed, so both B and I were relaxed.

After final trip for a pudding, we sat and talked for a while, before B sent ne to the bar to pay, nice lady chattered away to me asking how we had liked the food, and atmosphere, then collected B from our table and headed back to the hotel.

Sunday, up early again, showered, shaved, painted, perfumed, dressed, in one of my new skirts  and ready for when B woke, we had noticed a sign to another Outlet centre the night before, called Freeport Outlet Centre, so that was our first call, got there just as it was opening, and as we had had no breakfast, we went into the first café there BBs I think it was called, and had a muffin and coffee for breakfast, how decadent! After a while eating, chatting and drinking, we set out to explore, guess what first shop was a M & S outlet, with more clearance rails, we spent ages, sorting looking and finding things, I took two skirts and some shorts into the changing rooms to try on, and B had found a couple of skirts and a top, tried on the clothes, and a pair of shoes, one of the skirts didn’t fit, but the other looked fine, didn’t like the shoes so put them back, lovely friendly lady in the changing rooms.

So again Lesley had to buy the things from the tills, nice young lady was very nice and kind as I bought the clothes, then onto the other shops, had a look around Klass, Pavers, Romans, nice shoe shop there, think the young guy there fancied me lol couldn’t do enough to help, but in the end we didn’t see anything else we wanted.

I wanted to change before leaving, so back to the car to pick up my girlie jeans and then changed in the ladies, lovely big mirrors in there, so was able to refresh my make up.

Then we drove on to Biddulph Grange, love it there and always wanted to visit as Lesley, we went in, nice friendly staff in reception, and shop, and then had a gorgeous couple of hours wandering around the gardens, such a fascinating place, and looking so good too, just love China, and Egypt, would love to have the time and money to design and create a garden.

Then lunch, we stood in the queue and ordered, packed inside, so decided to sit outside in the sunshine, the nice waitress bought our meal, and we sat and talked as we ate, Biddulph was starting to really fill up now, as the afternoon wore on and the temperature rose. After lunch we had a look at the map of the garden, and realised we had somehow missed a bit out, so had another wander around, with B taking pics, then, as time was getting on, a final visit to the ladies, and the drive home
