Lesleys Diary 2018
01/01/2018, Well what a start to 2018, afternoon at Banbury Retail Park, little disappointing in that some of the stores were closed, but made up for that in the ones that were open, tried on a dress in New Look, too small, had lunch in McDonalds, then shopped till we dropped in Primark, tried on a top and skirt, both too small, found some boots, B sent me to pay, lovely young chap served me, then visits to River Island, Dotty Ps, and Poundland, for make up, all the cafes were closed so stopped off in Warwick for coffee on the way home
04/01/2018, great day out as Lesley with B, around the Cotswolds, started in Morton, where we had lunch in Marthas Cafe, so love being a lady that lunches, then a round of the charity shops, but disappointing, as there was nothing that caught my eye, although B got some bits, then on to Stow where we had a wander around the town, and did the charity shops, did try on a skirt, but no good, finished with Coffee & cake in Huffkins and then home
05/01/2017, nice evening with B to Stratford, for a little shopping on the retail park, started with coffee & cake in Costa, then a look around the sale in Asda, tried some things on, but nothing took my fancy, then M & s found a lovely leopard skin skirt, but too pricey, then Next and New Look, and finally Matalan, rather disappointing as returned hope with nothing new, but nothing struck a chord, oh well, always next week lol
12/01/2018, fantastic evening out with B, caught the train to Stratford, wandered down to Neros for a coffee, then to the cinema to see "Darkest Hour" good film we enjoyed it, and then on to Carluccios, for a meal, lovely nice polite staff there as always, and then caught the last train home
14/01/2018, morning out with B to Valley Country park, loved wandering around the shops there, tried on some boots in Pavers, and a fur coat in Romans, very chatty assistant there, B let me do the buying, so enjoyed being treated as a lady at the tills, and of course we had to have a coffee and snack while we were there
19/01/2018, lovely afternoon out with B to Stratford, coffee as always, and then tried on and bought a skirt in M & S, another quick wiz around the sales on the estate, found and tried on a lovely coat in Next, loved the colour, but style did nothing for me
21/01/2018, Got up to find in snowing, but that didn't put B and I off from our trip to Boundary Mills, got there about 10:30, and had a brouse, we were looking for curtains, and after a good look through, finally found what we were looking for, then had coffee and a cream cake and a look through the clothes, couldn't help trying on some boots and a fur coat!
25/01/2018, brisk trip into Solihull, as we needed some bits and pieces, did some window shopping bought some bubble bath and wipes from Poundland, and a quick visit to the ladies, nice and quick, but worth it
26/01/2018, Needed some new shelving from IKEA, so what better way to buy it than as Lesley, so B and I drove to Coventry, started with Coffee and a slice of Daim cake in the cafe, then wandered around till we found what we wanted, then had to get it from the ground floor, rather hopeing we might get a nice young man to help us load it onto a trolly, but got a nice young lady instead, she was fine with me, then on the way home went into B & Q to look at wallpaper, got more chance of agreeing with B on a style as Lesley than as a man lol
