Visit to Bath

Well now its my second day as Lesley, woke up to a lovely day, lay in bed in my nighty thinking about what I had planned today, I was off to Bath for the day, bit of sightseeing, bit of shopping and of course lunch.

Well, no use just thinking about it, up, showered and shaved as usual, did a few stay hairs on my legs, and then had breakfast just in a silky robe, looking at the view from the windows. Now, make up first, usual colours today, think they suit me best, bra, panties, black opaque tights, with a new dark red top, Marks & Spencer mini skirt, and as it was so warm, just a jacket, did my hair, jewellery etc, and a look in the mirror, looked ok to me, but then I always do!!

Out to the car, satnav on, and drove off, lot of traffic, but enjoyed the drive, been to Bath before, but had forgotten how badly signposted it is, should have taken the park and ride really, but wanted my laptop so I could check mail, finally found a car park down by the river, got my ticket, put my jacket on, checked my look in the window, and off I went, first, I wanted to wander around a bit, get my bearings and take a few pics, walked to the main street, had a wander, crowds of people about, but felt ok, took a few pics in the shopping area, then the main square by the baths,so many tourists no one took any notice of little old me, found a couple of charity shops, nothing I fancied there, but had a nice look around Jollys, a beautiful old department store, one of the girls there gave me a knowing look as I had a spray of perfume, but she smiled when I did, walked along the riverside and over the bridge, good place for pics there, then, decided it was time for lunch.

Back to the car to drop off the camera, and pick up my laptop, felt like a real business woman as I walked back up the streets, on my way to a business lunch perhaps lol Went to Café Neros, ordered a panini, with my latte and found a table, rather crowded, but squeezed in to a table between two couples, opened my laptop and collected my mail, had a look at chix, then realised that anyone either side of me would be able to see what I was looking at, oh well, the girl brought my panini and sat and ate and drank, my lunch, in the busy atmosphere.

Then a visit to the ladies, before returning to the car, to collect the camera again, this time I went to the gorgeous little riverside park, used to be free, but got charged £1,50 by a bored looking young lady in the office, still worth it, quiet, and almost empty ideal for taking pics, if you don’t have one yet, get yourself a “Gorrilla Grip” tripod and a remote for your camera girls, its so easy to take pics of yourself!  Spent a happy hour in there, different pics at different angles, and all of me.

Ticket was running out now, so wended my way back, still snapping away to the car, decided to stop off at Midsomer Norton on the way back, found a parking place in the main street, and did the charity shops, and M & Co, but nothing there at all, rather disappointing really.

Back to the cottage, tried on some of my new clothes and had a glass of wine, then about 19:00 drove down to Tescos in Wells, for some food, eating in tonight, cant afford to go out every night lol, bought an Indian and a bottle of wine, very chatty lady on the tills, giving me a good look as she talked to me, but very friendly and nice, then home again, to put my (booted) feet up and watch a DVD while supper cooked, and then a pleasant evening in for a change
